Welcome to Peer Power

The Power of Personal Connections during Cancer

For many people with cancer, connecting with others provides emotional support and a sense of empowerment during a challenging time. Whether it's joining a support group, finding a one-on-one connection with someone who has been through something similar, or reading our Ambassador’s stories, personal connections can give people with cancer and those supporting someone with cancer a chance to learn from and help each other.

There are different types of support groups: some are led by cancer survivors, some by caregivers, some by professionals, and some by advocacy organizations. You can connect in a variety of different ways including online, in-person, via text, or phone.

There’s plenty of choice to allow you to find the right fit for you.
